“To bronch or not to bronch?” Yesterday PGY-3 and future Mayo Rochester PCCM fellow, Dr. Bhatt, presented his MERIT on the utility of bronchoscopy in immunocompromised patients with respiratory symptoms. The answer? It’s complicated!

Dr. Eslinger taught us about cancer outcomes in patients with low socioeconomic status and Dr. Patel taught us about the (super complex!) cost of healthcare in the US. We’ve learned so much this year from our resident presentations during Health Equity week.
