The arguments I hear a lot in climate debates:

Whataboutism ('we're just a small nation')
Technological fixes ('the engineers are gonna come up with solutions')
Free riders ('everyone else does/owns x')
Individualism 'each of us should consume less y')

Soon Southern Europeans as well as people from other hot places will be going on holidays up North to escape the burning heat in their home countries
