Let's be fair, 'thought leaders' aren't always that thoughtful. I suggest we refer to such persons with a more adequate term: Leadfluencers.

'Danes understand that they can’t both have a safe, open society where young children can be out alone at night, take the metro by themselves, and enjoy the parks, if they also allow druggies, vagrants, beggars, and the mentally ill to roam the streets.' world.hey.com/dhh/the-realit…

Oh, the gap between the idealized solutions, upbeat consultants propose on LinkedIn every day, and the organizational reality, faced by millions of people every day

This gap intrigues me

Don’t throw away dull, outdated furniture. Paint the furniture in a beautiful colour instead, and invest in new handles if needed. That way, you’ll get wonderful, unique pieces of furniture. Examples👇

Today, I was informed that my master's thesis has received an A. I can now call myself a Master of Arts in Literature, graduated from the University of Copenhagen. I am very pleased!

I'm writing a novel. The plot unfolds in the summer of 2054. It took me three weeks to complete six pages: Every sentence has to be perfect. If it's not finished until 2053, it won't be a climate fiction, but a climate faction!

The arguments I hear a lot in climate debates:

Whataboutism ('we're just a small nation')
Technological fixes ('the engineers are gonna come up with solutions')
Free riders ('everyone else does/owns x')
Individualism 'each of us should consume less y')

Soon Southern Europeans as well as people from other hot places will be going on holidays up North to escape the burning heat in their home countries

I’m trained to capitalize on context, so I’m building vacation rentals in my garden. They will be available until the world ends
