UPS2976, an MD-11, crashed at 5:13 PM EST in Louisville, KY today. Unverified video shows the aircraft on fire as it took off. The plane was headed for Honolulu so was full of fuel. The resulting fire appears to cover a large area. Image from adsbexchange.com

NTSB is about to begin their FOD (foreign object debris) walk, where they'll walk along the runway and use a drone to photograph all debris on the runway.

NTSB says that UPS has told them that the MD-11 flight was not delayed and that there was no maintenance done just prior to the take off.

BREAKING: Transportation Sec. Sean Duffy says the FAA will *reduce flight capacity* in U.S. airspace starting Friday morning if air traffic controllers continue to go unpaid. FAA will cut traffic by 10% at 40 undisclosed airports beginning Friday if there’s no shutdown deal.
