Lived in London for 45 years and only saw this building on Three Mills Island for the first time last week and it’s already a favourite. This city gives for a lifetime.

Just want to say that obviously I was invited to the British Museum's Pink Ball but unfortunately I made the mistake of washing my pink suit with the whites and so had nothing to wear.

For no other reason than that it makes me happy, here is my favourite story of the decade, by Jerome Starkey. It's about a major who "did the double". His fiancee was Country Life "Girls in pearls", his spaniel was Shooting Times "Dog of the Week".

With huge thanks to the Old Bailey, the Royal Courts of Justice, Doughty Street Chambers, and Foundry Chambers for supporting this year’s advocacy training course. This was run over six sessions and involved voice, presence, and advocacy training for specialists. (1 / 2)

A special thank you to HHJ Whitehouse KC sitting at the Central Criminal Court for giving up her Saturday morning to train aspiring barristers on their advocacy. Here are some wonderful photos of our exceptional cohort this year! (2/2)

I’m worried that Beppe’s Cafe features so prominently in Slow Horses as it’ll now be overrun with tourists which will making getting a fry up before the Old Bailey a nightmare.
