Jason Kidd is (and should be) highly criticized, but he also deserves his props for games like this.

2 things I’m interested to see in games 3/4:

1) how big the swing is in mavs role players playing at home (likely way less blown layups)

2) if the Mavs can finally find a way to play Zubac off the floor

2 basic rules. Don’t get back cut, and don’t foul unless you’re not letting the shooter get a shot off. Kyrie broke both of those rules and it might cost them

Josh Green played great defense on Harden there regardless of the foul call

Maxi has been just fine on defense

Anything that requires a decision on the offensive end for him has resulted in negative plays. At some point the question of if his defense is actually outweighing his offense needs to be up for discussion for rotation minutes #MFFL

Luka’s contests on harden are really strong and intimidating (almost a windup swipe making it look like a slap), and it’s a big reason as to why Harden has struggled shooting from 3 tonight #MFFL

The clippers’ ATO’s have been automatic in this series

PJ Hall's rebounding will translate because he doesn't win boards simply by being bigger

He tags the box out almost every single time & on time, particularly against jumpers. Really impressive area of his game that exemplifies a good feel for the game + good fundamentals

The defense by Lebron:

He knows Jokic isn't shooting right away so he plays low early in the set, ready for a switch

P&R comes, he baits Murray perfectly in the drop, switches to him, and reads the play as the hunted defender

A textbook example of how to guard their 2 man game

The dunk by Lebron was incredible, but how about that perfect defense by him on that possession against the Murray/Jokic P&R too?
