Very pleased to welcome the community to campus for a much needed discussion on #affordablehousing with our partners Fairfax County Government 🇺🇸. Thanks to @chuck4theregion and Jeff McKay for their participation, and @jrwalkinshaw and Supervisor Walter Alcorn for attending.
To solve our affordable housing challenge we need to have creative solutions. We brought together the best minds in the region to George Mason University to provide insight on the future of housing in #FairfaxCounty. This is also why I asked the County to hold an annual summit on housing.
Great to see my colleague Jerry McGinn lending his MasonGovCon expertise. Really interesting piece on the use of the Defense Production Act to combat COVID-19.
