As a 1L, I sought Cheslie’s advice about running for national office in NBLSA & it was actually invaluable. No one who served adjacent to her would have imagined her struggle, but it is precisely why law students should seek community > competition.

Teaching Con Law in the same room I learned it in has been special! I feel privileged to teach opinionated & bright students @ W&L Law School. There was never a dull moment, even when discussing the Commerce Clause. For that, I am so grateful and certainly sad that the semester is over!

Our Smith Lecture ⁦W&L Law School⁩ honoring our first Black graduate (‘69L), Leslie Devan Smith, was today. ⁦Dr. Tsedale M. Melaku⁩ gave the keynote. My colleagues, including ⁦Maureen Edobor⁩, organized and introduced. It was awesome.
