Ravens loved sports day this week. They gave their all in the heat and cheered on their peers in the races.

Doves have had a great week this week and have been very busy! Monday they had a visit from John the beekeeper, Wednesday was Sports Day and then Thursday was their last Forest School session. They’ve had lots of fun!

Falcons have been busy this week playing rounders, acting out different scenarios as part of their RE lesson on the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism, and making beautiful leaf design prints.

Ospreys are exploring maps and locating local places that have been named after the Anglo-Saxons.

Year 1 and 2 enjoyed some ice poles during afternoon break to cool off after a hot week ☀️🧊

In science today, Woodpeckers were experimenting with the formation of shadows. We positioned torches from a variety of lengths behind an object and drew and measured the shadow it created.
