Early release #JNeurosci: “Internal representations are prioritized by frontal-parietal theta connectivity and suppressed by alpha oscillation dynamics” with Frohlich Lab and special thanks to Trevor Supan McPherson (1/6) doi.org/10.1523/JNEURO…
Out now Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience – Simon Weber, Chang Yan, Lee Stopak, Stefan Hetzer, John-Dylan Haynes, and myself show that control might be possible without frontal cortex. Parietal and temporal areas show selection-specific activity, i.e., the information necessary to implement control.
Introducing the Nested Observer Windows (NOW) Model of Hierarchical Consciousness. What if your brain is hierarchical organized akin to a mosaic tile where each tile is itself a mosaic? Passion project of Jonathan Schooler and myself. doi.org/10.1093/nc/nia… 🧵1/4

On Dec 11, we hosted a symposium on #EEG brain waves featuring 8 speakers discussing the present and future of the field👉brain-waves-workshop.github.io/2024 (+slides!). Big thanks to NEUROMOVE-Rehab, Maria Rubega, Maëlan Menétrey, Junlian Luo, Université de Lausanne, and The Sense Innovation and Research Center for making it a success!
