The Wayzata Trojans Baseball started their season with a 7-0 win over STMA Knights Baseball. The Trojans got a combined shutout win on the mound from Riley Leatherman (2.2 IP, 3 K’s, 0 hits), Brady Lash (3.1 IP, 7 K’s, 3 hits), a& Charlie Seel (1.0 IP, 1 K’s, 0 hits).

Big win on the road for the Trojans tonight. John Skoro went 6 innings with 8 strike outs while Matthew Berkland and Zach Boutwell both collected two hits.

The boys plate 6 runs down by 7 in the 6th inning and later tie it up in the 7th from a Matthew Berkland double and a Viet Nguyen RBI single. After 13 innings, Riley Leatherman wins it with a walk off squeeze play. 8-7 win tonight and we play the Skippers home tonight at 6:30.
