One of the cost of living increases that doesn’t get mentioned alongside inflation is the fact that every appliance these days is designed to break after five years.

America is developing a polytheistic folk religion where the Founding Fathers are an Olympus-like Pantheon. Washington is the father of the gods, Jefferson the god of freedom, Hamilton the god of money (and rap lol), Franklin the god of invention, etc.

Agreed. The best baseball happens when there’s a lefty junk baller throwing 65 mph 12-6 curves mixed in with a mid-80s fastball with run. Straight-line pitches too fast for the eye to see are not good watching.

Everyone says their cats walking across their keyboards only yields gibberish, but that's not my experience. Mine always write full sentences in German, like, 'Ich will nichts als Welteroberung.'
