I take no pleasure in seeing yet another Barnsley FC head coach sacked. Working without a recognised striker and with defensive deficiencies galore to contend with DC was always going to be on the backfoot. At least the club are showing consistency in some areas.

Great result for the Reds yesterday and a fine performance by all accounts. Bodes well for a strong finish to the season. If the club have a definite long-term strategy and are prepared to back him to the hilt then Conor is most definitely the man to propel them forward.

So sad to watch the horrific scenes from Valley Parade 40 years ago on the Unforgotten documentary. RIP the 56 people killed and thoughts with everyone still affected to this day. Promotion this season is such a fitting tribute.
