A strange election full of mixed emotions. Anger & resentment towards the Tories. Little enthusiasm for Labour. But Starmer’s pledge to serve the country rather than his own ego is a stark contrast to recent PMs. He might not be what everyone wants, but could be what we need.

Have to say when Cameron became PM of a majority govt in 2015 on 36.9% of the vote I don't remember quite so much concern about vote shares.

when you look back it's so obvious to see why someone bullied you. but when you're in it, it's truly horrible. I read somewhere that social ostracisation is one of the most powerful weapons you can use against someone, it can make people physically ill. also, I love this writing

This project sounds really great. We’re at a stage now where there are lots of really strong (and varied) generalist WSL content options. But the next step is definitely to have more granular content across the league and this looks like a great step in that direction.
