Grade 3-8 Massey Mustangs listened to Fred Fox tell his brother Terry’s story this morning. This presentation kicks off our 2023 Terry Fox Foundation fundraising event.

We are so proud of our cross-country runners for their efforts today! Even in the rain they pushed through! 💪 🏆 👏

Our amazing community has more than doubled our goal of raising $2/student for the Terry Fox Foundation. Mme Henrion and Mme Meister’s classes are currently in the lead to win the prize for raising the most. ALL classes have earned a bonus recess next week. Bravo les Mustangs!

We had beautiful weather for our school-wide Terry Fox Walk today. Thank you to our amazing community for helping us fundraise over $2300! Mme Krassman’s Grade 2’s raised the most in primary and Mme Dryburgh Grade 8’s brought in the most in jr/sr and overall! Bravo!

We finished our week of Truth and Reconciliation work with a reflection walk, recognizing and honouring the experience of those who attended residential schools. Every Child Matters. Chaque Enfant Compte. 🧡
