US 101 remains closed near Hoodsport, milepost 332 near Old Mill Rd. We know it's a long detour around this. Geotech crews will be on scene this morning to look at the slope above the highway. Large trees & nearby powerlines need to be checked before we can clear the road.

Emergency services responded to reports of an explosion and flames in Hoodsport. Arson is suspected. A male named Jacob Rivera fled the scene and is now wanted for Arson in the first degree. Do not approach Jacob. If you have any information, contact 911 immediately.
