Yesterday we held a fruitful Mobilisation and Baraza4 Service delivery & wealth creation with a team from the Office of the President head by @Maj Marth Asimwe accompanied by @Sr Grace Akiror Commissioners from the RDC Secretariat. They checked on the progress of govt activities

Happening now; Interviews for Enumeration Supervisor at Ssaza District Headquarters in Lukiiko hall, they are both physical and online.

In studios of 98.8FM and 95.5FM Radio Buddu for Mass Vaccination Campaign of Yellow Fever that started on 2nd Tuesday across the district and will end on 8th Monday next week.

The Prime Minister Hon RT. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah. PRIME MINISTER has finally kick-started the re-construction of the Masaka-Kyotera-Mutukula road in Kyotera District Local Government. The contractors have pledged to perform to their best.

Earlier today, in the morning, we held an engagement with Uganda AIDS Commission and Inter-religious Council of Uganda devising means of minimising the AIDS scourge. HIV/AIDS prevalence is at 11.9% & 4% in Masaka DLG and National Level respectively.

The District Finance, works and administration committee headed by Hon Peter Ssenkungu accompanied by CAO and District Engeneer have spent the day monitoring the ongoing rehabilitation and mantainance of the access roads across the district.

Together with Districts of Greater Masaka, we have held an engagement with the Committee of Parliament on HIV/AIDS and related matters headed by Honor Gunday Sarah Kayagi @Masaka regional referral hospital. Several HIV related issues especially prevention and control have been raised.

This morning we have had an engagement with Msk DLG and City health officers, leaders and MoH team assessing the district and city readiness on the forthcoming mass vaccination campaign for Yellow Fever. This campaign is expected to kick start on 2nd April 2024.

This morning we have commissioned and disbursed funds for Older Persons and people with disability.
A total of over 30 millions have been disbursed to 8 PWD groups and 15Million to 3 groups of Older Persons.

To day we have held Finance, Planning and Works Committee sitting to dissect and approve work plans of different departments in the district. The committee was chaired by @Hon Peter Ssenkungu the Committee Chairperson.

We have also had a similar engagement in Masaka District.

Going on at Masaka Vocational and Rehabilitation Centre Kijjabwemi is a sitting of the ordinary district council session chaired by @Hon Kimuli Francis speaker.
