This afternoon, I enjoyed talking to my neighbors (including Finn) about what we are doing at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office to make our criminal legal system more equitable and our communities safer. Thank you SWAE Mpls!

We use every tool we have at the HCAO to protect the public’s safety. In this situation, prison is the best way to protect the community. Nothing will bring Autumn Merrick back to her loved ones, which is why we must prevent gun violence from happening before tragedy strikes.
