I asked some of my second graders in Mrs. Frazier’s class to visually communicate what it feels like on their favorite amusement park ride. They nailed it!

Mrs. Wright’s second grade class nailed it with their visual communication of what it feels like on an amusement park ride!

My first graders had so much fun making their “farmscapes” after Grant Wood. One student asked me to look up how pineapples grow so she could include them in her picture.😀

Yesterday it was like Christmas in the art room! Walmart off 1st Colonial donated supplies. Rosemary Moody hand picked the donations and Debra Brooks also picked items and sent them to the art room.😀 I also received my clay order!

One of my first grade boys in Ms. Camerino’s class was so happy about making his texture house drawing that he designed a house out of his supplies!

Mrs. Alther’s and Mrs. Hernandez’s Kindergarten classes enjoyed making their mosaic collages inspired by artist Alma Thomas.

At Casa de Cooke we are 4 houses one family! 3rd grade community installation art. More butterflies to come!

Winter Self Portraits by 2nd grade. These second graders were so patient through the long process of making each part of this artwork and learning how to print, stamp, mix a tint of blue and work with pastels for patterned scarfs and finally making their self portrait!

We have the best Principal Casey Conger at W. T. Cooke Elementary!!!How many Principals do you know that are willing to go to Washington D. C. And defend their teachers for better conditions with public officials? She goes above and beyond for her school!!!

Casey Conger must of taken hours to appreciate each of her staff! What a touching and kind token of love you have given to us! Words cannot express how special this is!❤️
