In 1990 I directed the film 'Grand Isle' based on “The Awakening”, a 19th century feminist novel by Kate Chopin. It isn’t available on to stream (nor on DVD/BR) & hasn’t been screened theatrically since it was featured at TIFF and nominated at Deauville. (1)

This is a rendering of the Napali Coast on Kauai. I painted it several years ago. I like the way it looks in the light of Long Island’s East End.
