Remembering Veterans Day

Three days in a row for NaNoWriMo. Passed the 5K words mark today. #nanowrimo2022

$6.4 BILLION is being spent on midterm political advertising.
Think about that.
Then think of all the hungry people in the world that money could feed.
Think of the education programs for poor people that could pay for.
This is fucked up.

Raising prices because demand is higher than supply is not a law, it’s a CHOICE (and excuse) made by corporations even when their profits are continuing to rise.

If 30 armed cops in full tactical gear with ballistic shields were too afraid to confront one gunman with an AR15, maybe we shouldn’t be putting AR15s in the hands of civilians.

I don’t agree with a lot of her positions, but I’d consider voting for Liz Cheney if I was a WY resident to support the kind of Republicans who deserve to be in Congress instead of the current sycophants putting Party and personal power above the will of the majority of Americans

It feels hopeless right now but all hope *is* lost if we give up.

Jury duty finally caught up to me. Have to report in July for the first time ever. Would have preferred being on a grand jury but this will be serving at a trial. This could be one of those times when an interesting experience isn’t a good thing.

This still rings true in 2022. I’m looking at you politicians and SCOTUS.
