MJZC Andy Marshall 📸 Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust A lost village at Fairfield is local folklore, as no evidence of a larger settlement has ever been found. Church was made of expendable materials, so may have just served the local farms and scattered houses. Before the causeway it could only be reached by boat in winter floods!

Went to some Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust today. Absolutely gorgeous.

Lydd All Saints hosts the Trust’s AGM on Sat 20th May, 2.30pm. This year’s guest speaker is ⭐️ Dame Joanna Lumley ⭐️ Members and friends invited. If not a member, but might be interested (it’s only £15 pa) please come along. #romneymarshchurches #joannalumley #romneymarsh
