I consider myself a citizen of the world after growing up in the UK and now having lived on three continents, four countries and three very different regions here in the US (Atlanta, California and Boston).

#2 I have also travelled extensively all across Europe seeking far away destinations to explore on my bike. I set out on this lifelong journey with the explicit goal to gain new experiences, to follow my curiosity and to meet people who are different to me.

#3 I wanted to meet people in other countries and learn about their cultures. These experiences have been deeply enriching to my life and it seems that I have passed that along to my 16 year old twin children who are wise beyond their years.

#4 As a family, we are all shocked and deeply saddened by the despicable acts of racism that we have seen across our country over the last few weeks - and we understand that this is nothing new to the African American community that has been suffering for generations

#5 I want you to know that we stand with you as an ally and a friend. These events have served to bring to the forefront something that we had let become acceptable. No longer. This is wrong. We will act in whatever way we can to help make a difference. #blacklivesmatter
