In an old post, I said that #Rojava’s census would be used for taxation, conscription and elections. Caught a lot of flak then – less now.

I’m not criticizing; the #SDC has to meet the needs of the moment.

.@Naenil I agree. NS–#Rojava increasingly looks and acts like a state. But Democratic Confederalism wasn't about creating one more state.
