Ron was a great community leader. He was honorary diploma recipient, a co-chair of our #AgBelongsHere campaign for the Prairie Innovation Centre and a good friend to Assiniboine College. Our thoughts are with his family and his team Shur-Gro Farm Services.

I was at a friends place last night . His wife put a cigarette out in the fire pit before we went inside for dinner. 10 mins later we noticed the pit was in full blaze . Innocent enough but incredibly dangerous . I support Premier Houston’s call on this 100%.

In 1976, 92% of high school seniors said that they had consumed alcohol in their lives. In 2022, that was 53%. Smoking cigarettes went from 76% to 17% during the same time period. Marijuana use is down by 26 pts. Oh, and teen pregnancy is down 75% since the early 1990s.
