WV is underappreciated in education reform. It's one of the most rural states in the country. No town larger than 50k. They have roughly 250k K12 students. Soon, close to 10% will be in the ESA. All before changes in the 26-27 year that will make the ESA even more accessible.

BIG NEWS! We already have more students signed up for next school year than all of last. Nearly 15,000 students will receive 100% funding from the Hope Scholarship.

It is still estimated nearly 19,000 students will partake in Hope next year. Hope now represents one of the largest student pools in the state. This right before the program goes universal in 2026.

Nearly 15,000 students will receive full funding for the Hope Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. Treasurer Pack spoke to WTOV NEWS9 about the increase from the 10,750 students who received some level of funding from the previous year.
