Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins speaking this morning after one of his officers was shot. The officer was shot in the leg and was able to fire back. Officer is alert and conscious. Suspect is dead. Hawkins says he saw the body cam video and said his officer was “ambushed.”

Hochul is announcing a conceptual budget agreement at 4:45 p.m., or broad strokes of a handshake deal as she did last year.
