Wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur at times today. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible. Some severe storms are possible between 10 AM and 4 PM EDT. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats. However, confidence is low in storms developing. #inwx

A cold front is working its way across Indiana and will stall near the Ohio River. A few showers and storm may develop along the boundary later today. A low risk for isolated large hail and strong wind gusts exists. Further north, expect a dry day with highs near 80. #INwx

Marion County is currently under a flood warning until 12 p.m. due to consistent rainfall. Drive cautiously today, and avoid driving through heavy water impacted roadways. #TurnAroundDontDrown

Rain will become widespread and heavier with scattered thunderstorms once again by late today continuing through early Friday with 1 to 2' expected. A few stronger storms are possible Thursday afternoon. Wind may gust to 40 mph Thursday and Friday. #INwx #indy

Wet and unsettled weather returns to central Indiana over the next few days. The heaviest and most widespread rain with scattered storms will come Wednesday afternoon through Thursday night. 1-3' of rain is possible by early Friday with highest amounts south of I-70. #INwx #indy

Marion County’s location in the path of totality will make it a hot spot for eclipse viewing. Be mindful of traffic congestion and limit driving as much as possible on April 8. Also make sure you have a full gas tank and plenty of supplies for your eclipse event traveling.
