Great to be with you, Montie Beach! There’s plenty going on in District H—from updates on the District H Patrol to valuable feedback from our Town Halls, and the latest on the parking meter ordinance. Lots happening and lots to share!

Grateful to the Melrose Park, Northside, and Northline communities for joining me this Saturday afternoon for our 10th Town Hall! With much work ahead, I’m excited to collaborate with you all as we strive to keep our neighborhood safe, strong, and healthy.

Yesterday morning, I chaired my first budget committee meeting w/ Labor Chair Abbie Kamin to address the proposed settlement with the Houston Firefighters. The next budget meeting is 4/30 at 10AM and will further address this issue. I welcome your input.

Union Pacific has announced the opening of their annual Community Ties Grant application period. They are providing small and medium sized grants within their cause areas to local organizations. Their application submission period ends on May 31, 2024.
