This past week we hosted our annual senior awards banquet. The event featured a series of end of year awards, along with recognition of the senior athletes in the class of 2024. Women’s Soccer honored seniors Isabel Foley, Elon Johnson, Jessica Krupnikoff & Paola Varela.

Morgan Fontaine won our Newcomer of the Year Award, presented to the female student-athlete who had the most prolific 1st year as a varsity athlete. Starting in all 17 games & finishing with 8 goals, 2 assists (team highs), Morgan was named to GNAC All-Rookie Team! Congrats!!!

Our Female Athlete of the Year went to Gemma Landry for the 2nd year in a row. One of the most challenged GKs in the country, she ranked top-20 nationally in total saves (150) which also led the conference, helping her earn GNAC Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Congrats Gemma!!!

Our 3rd recruit is Ava Iwasko, from Sterling Heights, MI. Ava joins from Lutheran HS North & will major in Exercise Science. A combative striker with speed & excellent movement, great touch and the ability to finish, she plays for Fraser SC Welcome to the Mariners!!! 🔴⚽️⚫️

4th up is Sarah Keefe, from Cheyenne, WY. Sarah joins from Cheyenne HS South & will major-minor in Criminal Justice/Health Sciences. A versatile player in wide areas & backup GK, she has great speed & control & excels on the basketball court. Welcome to the Mariners!!! 🔴⚽️⚫️

Next recruit is Cassidee Zollinger, from Roy, UT. She joins from Utah Military Academy & will major in Exercise Science. A defender/midfielder who breaks up plays & distributing to start attacks. Hardworking & disciplined, she led her HS team. Welcome to the Mariners!!! 🔴⚽️⚫️
