Not sure who's responsible for filming this masterpiece but even as a farmer watching this, I'm still in awe that a seemingly inert seed has all the information required to spring to life in the right conditions and reproduce.

I binged the 1995 BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries over the weekend with my friend and I forgot how good it was??? It was SO funny, the costuming was insanely good, and it just felt so warm and comforting

Italian director Franco Zeffirelli once said: “When I feel depressed, I return to Florence and look at Brunelleschi’s dome: if the genius of man has reached such heights, I too must try to create, act, and live.”

Cannot tell you how much I adore this clip from 1941 of women from the Western Isles of the Outer Hebrides singing as they work their Harris Tweed. It was shot by the great JACK CARDIFF.

An important phone call was winding down and I didn’t know if I wanted to say “take it easy” or “talk to you later.” My brain froze at the junction between the two phrases, and I blurted out: “take it later.” What is wrong with me. I am demented.

Galapagos Boobies portrait. The blue-footed booby, also known as “Boobies” is indeed my favorite bird among the many I have photographed. When they walk with that kind of penguin moving swinging mode they are just adorable. Blue-footed boobies are socially monogamous seabirds
