We can't chose what dies. What ends and when is not really up to us. But we can choose to witness: to tenderly and with curious love let our awareness follow them to rest. We could all do with more frequent practice of saying "goodbye", a prayer.

SO VERY FULL of gratitude to be living in a house that is an intentional experimental lab for co-living. Every two weeks, we run a new experiment and then keep, discard, or iterate on it. Deeply earnest intention + lighthearted & playful action = magic

I feel the same is true for writing. I often find myself trying so hard to write well that I constrict myself around the next word or sentence. When I give the page and my mind's throat the silence, patience, space, breath they need -- the next words simply fall out.

You want to see someone? Stop tunneling and rummaging. Step back. Breathe out. Let your eyes loosen focus on them. Let the edges of their being soften. Make room for a little more of them. Breathe in.
