A slice of subtle perfection from the Lake District... (a shot that needs to be seen big to appreciate it fully). I loved the shaft of light before the sun appeared, the house nestled on the shores of Buttermere & the mist floating on the water - a magical moment #buttermere

I've been trying to get this shot for a long time; I had imagined it for years & had never quite managed it, but this week it came together for me: the fog, the autumn colours, and the lone person strolling through 🙂 It just goes to show that patience is a virtue! #surrey

So, it's been a while, but I finally found time to have a look at the pictures I took last month on a gloriously foggy morning. This is my favourite tree, near to where I live, and I spent a bit of time with my camera as the sun slowly started to break through the haze. #surrey

I hadn't been to Bushy Park for a while so headed there one morning in January. It was cold but sunny, & I sat for a good while watching the deer, taking the occasional photo. ⁠ ⁠ I couldn't resist getting a shot of this one standing in the golden light of the morning sun...

Another from Bushy Park... this is almost straight out of the camera, it really was this golden! Gloriously cold and clear, the pond was frozen, the mist was rising, and people were going about their day as they made their way through the park; simply beautful. #bushypark
