Richard Madeley joined in a discussion on shoplifting this morning.

Madeley got off shoplifting Champagne in 1994, but Tesco staff were only watching him so closely when they nabbed him because they thought he had stolen alcohol the week before.

Hi Victoria Derbyshire Victoria Derbyshire please stop quoting the 2018 OBR prediction of a 4% hit to UK GDP over 15 years.

Here ITV News reported in 2022 that the hit to GDP due to Brexit was already 5-6%. Brexit has affected the UK economy worse than you seem to think.

Victoria Derbyshire Hi again, a 4% hit to GDP in 15 years is absolute nonsense, the OBR is funded by the treasury & appointed by Tories. In this 2019 article credit ratings agency Standard & Poor believed in the 3 years since the Brexit vote 3% had already been shaved off GDP metro.co.uk/2019/04/04/briโ€ฆ
