Kicking off Halloween with a thrill: voting for myself for City Council! Running for office was a big step—scary at times—but I’m proud to be doing it and can’t wait to represent the vibrant communities across the 3rd!

Spent Election Eve in the community, like I have for the last 20+ years and will continue to do, by helping at the Obama Elementary School clean up! Now to knock some more doors! (Posted with parental permission)

It was great to connect with some of our poll greeters this morning and chat with them before polls opened in Gilpin Court!

Glad to have supporters across the 3rd especially my husband Spencer who was able to grab a selfie with one of our amazing poll greeters Maritza after voting!

Got to drop off lunch to Richard one of our amazing poll watchers who’re out all day making sure folks know about our community powered campaign!

Great to stop in at Obama Elementary to see Sydney and make sure our amazing poll greeters have everything they need in the final hours of Election Day!

As polls close I just want to give a big thank you to everyone who’s supported the campaign either by voting, talking to their friends, donating, or with words of encouragement! Now we wait for the results!

There was so much beauty to be found in the community that CreativeMornings/Richmond brought today! It's been a minute since I've been with these beautiful people but it was perfect and profound.

Southside ReLeaf is assembling in the parking lot of 7 West Marshall Street on Thursday, 1/9 to deliver cases of water. We need volunteers any time before sundown to help. Please look for a big U-Haul truck. We're also accepting water donations at this site.

City Water Distribution Sites open today, 1/9, at 10:30am at the locations above. Southside ReLeaf has put together a list of community led water distribution locations on their website.
