I was glad to pay tribute to Academy award winner, Francis Lai, during a film music concert in Spain performing his music theme from "Love Story", which won the Oscar in 1970. I was very sad when I learned of his death in 2018. Francis was a humble and generous person.

On April 12 I received the "Omaggio a Pasolini" Award. Having my name next to that of one of the greatest poets of the last century is a source of pride. Pasolini was a courageous and cultured man, who fought against the oppression of culture. Marco Werba
