Aug 16: Scattered storms once again this afternoon over the interior and east coast. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s with heat index in the 100s. Storms this afternoon will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, gusty winds and frequent lightning #flwx

Last night Firefighters responded to a tiki hut fire behind the JW Marriott. On arrival firefighters found two tiki huts fully involved. Fires were extinguished and there were no injuries. Incident is under investigation and is suspicious in nature.

Crews are out checking access during the storm. High water has been reported on main roads across the island. Proceed with caution. #marcofirerescue
