The project wasn't at Leeds this year, but members from our sister project Levd religion i medeltida Finland )Lived Religion in Medieval Finland) presented their work! E.g. Anna-Stina Hägglund discussed donations to Nådendal Abbey in the session on spiritual gifts and networks in the medieval North.
The hypothesis of a late arrival of Leonard’s cult in the North is supported by the Swedish calendar material, where the earliest known appearance of his feast is in the fragment Sveriges Riksarkiv Fr 25596 (see Mapping Lived Religion' database: saints.dh.gu.se/quote/12464). (4/n)
Brand new post on our blog! We have had the privilege of hosting fabulous student interns who help with the database. Here, Anton Andersson, Liberal Arts student Göteborgs universitet / University of Gothenburg reflects on his time in the project (Swedish): "Om att praktisera i projektet" blogg.lnu.se/mapping-saints…
Intressanta kommande seminarier om heliga rum i Växjö organiserade av en av våra forskare Linnéuniversitetet Linnaeus University ! (Målgrupp är främst högstadie- och gymnasieelever.)
Planning this exciting conference together with Eleonor Marcussen is @ [email protected] ! See below for more info. #digitalhistory #digitalhumanities
