The Demons Track & Field Program had a great performance at the IESA Sectional Track Meet yesterday (hosted by Manhattan). 15 athletes qualified for State in 9 events! It came down to the very last event, but the 7th-grade boys won Sectionals by 3 points! Good job, Demons!

Opening Night of the MJHS Spring Play was a huge success! All students involved with the production did an amazing job! Thanks to everyone who came out to support the cast and crew! Check out the second performance of the two one-act plays tonight at MJHS starting at 7 PM!

The last State Send-Off Pep Rally this year was a success! Good luck to our 15 track athletes competing at the IESA State Meet this weekend! Thanks to our MJHS Marching Band for their help this year bringing back the fight song! And kudos to our Blue Crew Leaders for their work!

What a first day of the IESA State Track & Field Meet for our Demons! Three athletes competed in five events, and all five times MJHS ended up on the podium! At the end of Day One, the Demons are in 3rd Place in the 7th-Grade Girls Competition! Great work, and good luck tomorrow!

STATE CHAMPS!!! Congrats to our 7th-Grade Girls 4 x 200 Relay, who won the event!!! This, along with some impressive individual performances, propelled the Demons to SECOND PLACE IN STATE (for the first time in school history)! We are proud of our athletes and coaches!Go Demons!

A special thank you to the Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Association for coming out to MJHS for a PE Takeover, where students participated in various activities! We appreciate their time and sharing information about their programs! Thanks, Mrs. Carroll, for setting this up!

MJHS hosted our first-ever House Olympics, and it was a blast! Thanks to the over 180 students and staff who competed! A special thank you to our four student MCs, Blue Crew helpers and our SEL Committee for planning this, especially Mrs. Flavio! Winner will be announced Monday!

Yesterday, all of our music programs at the Junior High combined to give a surprise performance honoring Dr. Pacheco! Thank you to Mrs. Pedziwater, Ms. Perkne, and all the musicians who planned it all! Thanks, Dr. Pacheco, for your contributions in Manhattan over the years!

Thanks to our PTO and volunteers that helped with the Field Days at MJHS last week! Despite having to scramble and make adjustments to move inside on Wednesday, all students had a blast! We're blessed to have such a committed group of parents that do what's best for kids!

The Class of 2025 had a busy 2 days: their 8th-Grade Dance & Great America Trip! Thanks to Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Dobczyk, & all the staff that decorated for & chaperoned the dance as well as the staff & parents that went on the trip! Without them, these celebrations wouldn't happen!

Students attending Manhattan 114’s STEM Camp had a blast this week diving into animation, robotics, and engineering! Our food-themed projects and challenges served up some seriously tasty learning—STEM has never been so delicious! 🍕🤖📐

Many thanks to Aidan Casey, former Manhattan 114 student, for serving our district through his Eagle Scout project. Aidan built a custom shelf to store instruments for Mrs. Miller-Amato's music classroom at Wilson Creek. Congratulations and thank you, Aidan!
