Power supply arrangements have been made in the section through Traction Sub-stations at Dodbele, Nittur, Birur, Savanur & Devarguda. HT supply Tr. Lines work for these TSSs has been executed by KPTCL.

Balance TSSs at Honnavalli Road, Ramgiri, Tolahunse are expected to be commissioned by Sep'23. KPTCL is executing Tr Line work for these TSSs on priority.

Railway Electrification of Nittur-Arsikere-Birur & Tolahunse-Devargauda-Haveri-Hubballi sections has been completed in record time in previous financial year i.e. 2022-2023.

After completion of RE of Bengaluru-Hubballi route in record time and further introduction of services of Vande Bharat Express in this route will certainly fulfill the aspiration of people of state to get safer, faster and economical transportation between these two cities.

Vande Mataram Ushering a new era of high speed trains. Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat inaugurated today by Hon'ble PM. Dream of semi high-speed train between Bengaluru and Dharwad come true today, with tireless efforts in last two years by Railway for completing RE of this route.

The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will improve connectivity across Karnataka. It will also improve commerce and tourism in the state.
