As teachers, sometime we do “go on a bit”. Our kids get as tired of hearing our voices as we do of their constant chatter. Doing a lesson each term with no talking not only rests your voice, but can really engage your students too! (My kids really like the “silent day”)

Some days I wish I were in the staff room for lunch, but having an open door policy for my students means that any of them can drop in to hang out or work. Sometimes that 10min with a teacher or friend can lead to big breakthroughs. #musiced
