The Green River Ferry is closed to all trailers and recreational vehicles due to low water conditions. Please remember there is a two vehicle limit and a 12 ton capacity on the ferry. Please comply with all posted safety signage.

On this date in 1857 a visitor to Mammoth Cave decided to honor guide Nick Bransford by inscribing his name on the wall inside the Snowball room. Nick was a cave guide at Mammoth Cave from 1838 till 1895.
