It’s with great pain that I have learnt of the passing of my long-time friend Ismail Adan Yusuf. Yusuf had the courage to host me and my team at their home in Mandera in the 1990s when the government canceled our meeting, leaving us stuck, with the plane gone.

10 yr old Kevin Omondi who’s undergoing treatment at Ovi Children’s Hospital in Migori for a genetic skin condition has impressed me with his fighting spirit. On learning of his plight we arranged for him to be brought from their home in Siaya to this special needs hospital.

DS Foundation, a youth led organization briefed me on a national peace drive concert they are pushing that will be held in Kisumu in April 2022. I am encouraged by their clarity of vision as outlined by their leadership. I applaud their positive efforts thus far.
