Weather steadily improving. 15-20 mph winds

After 6 holes Malvern are 1dn, 4Up, 1dn. Still a good 2 club wind and overcast, but dry. About to turn into the wind at 9 which will be a different test.

Blustery…..2 clubs occasionally gusting 3

After 9 holes (which took 2h10 😳), Malvern are all square in the top match, then 5up and 2 down in the other 2 matches. Mostly into a still stiff wind for the back 9 - all to play for!

Always lovely to pause for a few seconds at the bridge by the 10th tee and remember Bob…..

Malvern win! 2&2 in the top match and 7&6 in match 2. 3rd match all square after 15. Now to try and keep the team out of the pub for as long as possible!

Just about to start the annual pilgrimage down to Kent for the Nick Owen - weather looks to be pretty decent and early reports suggest Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, Royal St. George's Golf Club and Princes Golf Club are in fantastic condition. Centenary celebrations are planned - the OM flag is on its' way!
