In today’s #UNSC consultations on #Gaza , #Malta voiced deep concern that a #Rafah displacement camp was attacked, killing & injuring many sheltering civs. Violations of IHL must be investigated & the fighting must stop. Civilians are paying the ultimate price.

Yesterday, Amb Vanessa Frazier 🧡 🇲🇹 with Amb. Jackman 🇧🇧, presented the zero-draft of the #AntimicrobialResistance Political Declaration today to UN🇺🇳 Members.

The draft reflects months of consultations with stakeholders & MS and focuses on urgent political action to combat #AMR .

At today's #UNSC Open Debate, #Malta 🇲🇹 highlighted the immense potential of Africa's rapid growth and young population. We emphasised on the urgency of strengthening state institutions and investing in Africa’s future generations. We thank #Mozambique 🇲🇿 for the initiative.

Today, the #UNSC held consultations on the 1718 Committee. Council members were briefed by the Chair, Ambassador Baeriswyl of Switzerland, on her 90-day report.
