🛠️ 3rd Regiment, Engineer Squadron hard at work getting Luqa Barracks prepared for release. They are on their final days of working on final touches to make sure the map is up to the highest quality.

The King arrived at Luqa Barracks this morning to talk with several members of the AFM that are overseeing its construction. His Majesty thanked them for the hard work they've put in thus far and looks forward to its opening.

🇲🇹| Operation Homeland is taking effect with active effort from our Maritime Squadron to protect Mopti Province from illegal pirates. All pirate equipment has been seized and the waters remain safer.

🇲🇹 | 1st Regiment Basic Infantryman Cadre taking place at Mopti. Good to see new recruits coming into the forces daily. We hope to see them with us soon.

🔱 | Malta’s special forces, the Special Operation’s Unit, deployed Mopti Province for live fire training. Throughout the training- exercises were conducted to simulate combative measures taken in the field. We wish the SOU good luck as a new batch of recruits join in.

🇲🇹SOU Selections happening at Mopti and our mission ready training centre. Congrats to all those who were determined and overcame the challenge of selection. We commend you and wish you good luck in your future.

📸Malta recently attended the Commonwealth Inspection where we hosted our largest attendance yet. Not quite there yet, but the progress this force has shown has been impressive. We look forward to our future.

🇲🇹🤝🇺🇳 UN Peacekeepers will be deployed alongside Maltese troops in the next coming weeks. AFM will be extending offers to foreign nations to help maintain peace throughout Mali.

⚠️ ALERT: Due to recent attacks on AFM and UNPK based in Mail, AFM Headquarters has raised the threat level to SEVERE. All forces are reminded to take care out in the field given the new threat level.
