Panama, Le Valle Anton. Three-toed Sloth with baby, lovely watching it feeding and moving through a trackside tree. Videoed with phone.

There are some great Woodpeckers in Central America, this Black-cheeked Woodpecker in Panama is no exception and particularly photogenic, along with a further two in the same tree.

What a striking bird with such beautiful tail streamers. This male Resplendent Quetzl flew low between trees in front of us before alighting close to a female. One of 3 seen at Finca Lerida near Boquete, Panama.

Enjoyable morning ⁦Flamborough Bird Observatory⁩ with RB Shrike a couple of GN Divers, 2 Arctic Terns and a few Manxies. Returned home via Whykeham lake, Osprey fishing on main lake followed by the discovery of a Temmincks Stint which unfortunately only dropped in briefly.

Sichuan/China, Black-chinned Yuhina one of the more common birds seen in most locations visited. Often inquisitive and usually present in mixed flocks with Fulvettas and Tits.

China/Sichuan on the Tibetan Plateau. A tiring early morning at over 3000m searching hills for Tibetan Partridge drew a blank. Later in the day two crossed the road in front of us and posed nicely. Sichuan birding

Finally sorting through a few of the many butterfly images from a trip to Sichuan/China in June. Grison`s, Pallas`s, Silver Washed and Titania`s Fritillaries. Hadn`t realised that Silver Washed has such a wide range.
