Kicking off City of Malden fall tree planting season! Thank you to MassDCR for the 100K grant to support Christopher Rosa efforts to plant trees in some of our least forested areas.

Why drive to go apple picking when you’ll soon be able to do it right here in City of Malden! Thanks to Christopher Rosa, an apple and peach orchard is being planted at Forest Dale Cemetery using state funding from Jason Lewis, Rep. Steve Ultrino, Paul J. Donato, and KateLipperGarabedian.

Special tree planting today and the reason was because it was to honor Forestdale School 5th Grader Claire Johnston who recently won the Arbor Day poster contest and was celebrated today by MassDCR, Christopher Rosa, Adam Weldai, and the school community!
