Research by the Trinity College Dublin research group Stonebuilt Ireland, based in Geology in School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, in collaboration with colleagues at Valentia Slate and Carrig Conservation, has resulted in designation of Valentia Slate as an IUGS Heritage Stone. tcd.ie/news_events/ar…
