We have a new All Time Hits Leader for Puget Sound Baseball. This weekend Makana Murashige broke the record with the 206th hit of his career passing Logger great Connor Savage who set the record in 2015.

Congrats to one of the best to ever put on a Logger uni. 👏 And the best part if you ask me is there are still a lot more hits coming in his final season. Love ya, Makana Murashige! Proud of ya 🤙

In January we were unanimously picked 9th (even the new guy who had never seen a team in the league play picked us last😂) To watch this group come together and show that if you truly love your teammates, believe in yourself and each other that you can accomplish so much! Proud!

What a gritty group. No quit all year and they once again showed their resiliency tonight! Proud of these guys!

Brett Harvey ended his career as one of the most successful pitchers in program history. With a career record of 18-5 (Win % of .780) he finished 5th all time in wins. His 38 starts are the most ever for a Logger and he ended his career with 201 K's, placing him 4th all time.

Record breaking on the mound and one amazing human off the field! Our program will miss his leadership and what a great teammate he was as much as we do his pitching. (Well at least almost as much) 🥺😬

The 2025 season marked the end of half a decade of Makana Murashige in a Logger uniform. Makana leaves as the all time leader in Hits -215, Games Played-169, Starts-157, AB's-653 and pitcher hugs. 4th in Runs-127, 2B's-37, RBI's-115 and 2nd in Total Bases-282 and SB's-56. 👀👑⚾️

On April 23rd 2021 Mak started his 1st game. We were 9-15 at the time. We won and he started the rest of the season and we finished 18-19. We would go on to have 3 winning seasons, set a school record in wins, and make our 1st NWC Tourney. That is leaving a legacy on a program.

Great work both on the field and in the classroom by the team this spring. The 2025 Loggers won 25 games on the field and finished with a 3.43 team GPA in the classroom. 43 players achieved over a 3.0 with 25 accomplishing a 3.5 or higher and 5 more with a perfect 4.0. 👀🎓🔥

One of my favorite posts each spring. They really make it look easy but don’t be fooled. The determined effort, time management, sacrifice and focus to achieve this level of success while balancing a college baseball schedule is something they should be proud of.
