This year, we recruited the amazing Ashleigh Jankowski Ashleigh Jankowski, U.S. National Science Foundation GRFP fellow, and Becca Louisthelmy as the newest UMD Bioengineering PhD student in our group - both will be working on nanoparticles for lymphatic and lymph node targeted therapies

2023 also marks the first year that three(!) undergraduate students started completing their honors thesis in the group! They're studying lymphatics in health and disease, and designing nanoparticles to cross mucus and epithelial barriers.

I would not have been able to tweet about any of these things this week if it wasn't for the amazing group that has made all these exciting new development possible, who work together tirelessly and bring joy and authenticity into science!
